Overview

Dodge County, MN has not adopted the MN State Building Codes.

The Zoning Ordinance of Dodge County does require a zoning permit to be issued out of the Environmental Services Division for all structures erected, converted, enlarged, reconstructed, or altered. Except as provided by law, the jurisdiction of the zoning ordinance is not applicable to the incorporated limits of any city in Dodge County. Some townships require their signature on the form prior to turning it into the Zoning Office.
